Illuminate Your Life Workshops

Illuminated Life.JPG

I have an annual tradition of sharing my Illuminated Life workbook (download by clicking here) with all my coach clients to help them take a step back at the end of December, shed light on the past year, and cast a beam over the one to come.

Central to this work is helping you select a Word of the Year as a way of being intentional about who and how you want to be. The word should form an inspirational theme and help clarify your priorities as you journey through 2018.

Braving the Wilderness Group Sessions

Braving the Wilderness

Brene Brown released, "Braving the Wilderness" in the autumn of 2017. A timely book that redefines our understanding of what it means to truly belong in an age of increased polarisation.

The central question it examines is: How can we stay true to ourselves and experience true belonging, even when it means standing alone? Read an excerpt here.

This pop-up group will focus on the book's key themes and investigate what they mean for our lives, here and now.

"True belonging doesn’t require us to change who we are.
It requires us to be who we are.”

~ Brene Brown

The Content

I will facilitate each meeting to include:

  • A summary of the chapter covered: A little catch-up for anyone who doesn't manage to read every page.
  • Discussion to examine and deepen understanding of key themes.
  • Coaching questions to help us relate the area of focus to our own lives.
  • Reflection on what this means in practice in your context and idea generation of small ways to make it tangible.
  • And of course tea and biscuits (I'm also open to wine and cheese options if we feel that supports the wholehearted cause :).

I also like to experiment and play a little depending on the composition of the group, bringing in mindful moments, a song to listen to, or an optional creative assignment.

The practical

Sign up below for updates on new group dates or send a request for me to come and facilitate your group.

Where*: The next group will be online or in-person in central Amsterdam. Please indicate your preference when signing up.

Prep work: Purchase the book and read chapter 1-3 in advance.

My hope is that we will form a brave community with space to both be who we are and belong as we are.

Playing Big Group Sessions

Playing Big.jpg

In her book 'Playing Big', Tara Mohr shares her research into why women play small and what helps us play big, in our own way, from the inside out.

If you feel like you are 'playing small' in your life or career I strongly encourage you to read this book and would love for you to join the group coach sessions.

The Content

I am passionate about seeing women empowered to thrive and harness their powers for good! Join the group to grow in the practice of both compassion & courage to be present, show up, and contribute what you have to offer in the large and small of our daily work and lives. For women who want to explore and encourage one another to show up, speak up, create, and lead

Each group session will draw on a theme and tools from the book, such as dealing with your inner critic, drawing on inner wisdom, communicating with power, and daring to take a leap!

The practical

Wednesdays 19:30-21:30 CET

Where: This group will be in-person in central Amsterdam. I am also considering starting an online group in the spring, so if you are interested in that please sign up below for updates.

There's space for 8 wonderful souls around my kitchen table, I would love for you to be one of them!
